Salty + Seedy No-Bake Chocolate Bars

If you're in the northeast part of the United States right now, 
you are probably knee deep (if not more) in snow.

I'm not in the northeast right now but it's 55* degrees outside, 
and I have an extra sweater and fluffy socks on, I'm so cold. 
But I'm hormonal. 

Either way, both are excellent reasons to get in the kitchen 
and create no-bake chocolate bars.

Chocolate Bar 
slightly adapted from bon appetit
1/4 c chopped pistachios
2 Tbsp chia seeds
2 Tbsp sesame seeds
2 Tbsp shredded coconut (unsweetened)
1/4 tsp flaky salt
3.5 oz organic chocolate (70% cacao) chopped
3.5 oz organic chocolate (85% cacao) chopped

Add nuts, seeds and salt to small bowl, stir. 

In a medium size bowl, add the chopped chocolate.
Microwave for 1 minute, then stir. 
Continue to microwave in 30 second intervals, 
stirring after each, until chocolate is melted. 

Place parchment paper onto large baking sheet. 
Pour the chocolate onto parchment paper, 
spreading the chocolate out with a butter knife. 
Chocolate will not cover the entire sheet, mine didn't. 
Sprinkle the nut-seed-salt mixture evenly over the melted chocolate. 
Let stand at room temperature for about 2 hours, 
then place in refrigerator for another 2-3 hours.

When it breaks into pieces easily, it's ready to eat. 
Best served straight from the fridge. 

**I tried using the dark chocolate chips in the bag, first. 
It tasted wonderful but it got soft very quickly! 
The harder chocolate, chopped, worked much better.

Oh, and I made 3 batches - one with all the mix - the recipe above. This one was best. 
One with just the seeds & salt.
And the third, with chocolate only, no mix.
